Gucci Spring Summer 2012
In 1921, Guccio Gucci opened a leather goods company and small luggage store in his native town of Florence, Italy. Gucci was inspired by London and it’s refined English nobility while working in the Savoy hotel. Upon returning to Italy he set out to mix this English nobility style with his native Italy style and within a few years the label enjoyed international success.
During the Fascist dictatorship in Italy Gucci began to experiment with different luxury materials, one of which was cane. They burnished the cane to create the handle of the new iconic Bamboo bag, a favourite of royalty and celebrities alike, the bag remains a huge favourite today.

How absolutely stunning is this lady? Not everybody can carry off long grey hair and partially clear glasses! I love the fact that she has also gone with a deeper pair of specs, very ‘geek chic’. I would say that this lady is a lot older than she appears to be, so well done you for looking so amazing!

Fendi sunglasses
Fendi was launched in 1925 by Edoardo and Adele Fendi, as a fur and leather shop in Rome. Edoardo and Adele went on to have five daughters Paola, Carla, Anna, Franca and Alda. In 1946 the eldest daughter Paola went to work for her mother and father followed in turn by her sisters.

Dolce and Gabbana have had some of the most famous clients in the world including Sophia Loren, Madonna, David and Victoria Beckham. Stefano Gabbana was born in Venice Italy and Domencio Dolce was born in a small village in Sicily. Dolce studied fashion design in Sicily and gained experience working in his parents businesses.
